Grace to Forgive

When I’m already struggling with this, I find it helpful to write about it. The topic of forgiveness is easy enough, but the actual process can be a bit overwhelming. Then there’s the “balanced grace” message being taught that taints the act of forgiveness with a legalistic hue. What are we supposed to do? Who’s My Provider?

Saying and knowing are two different things. I can say that God is my provider, but unless I allow that truth to take root in my heart and mind, I will constantly be looking at other “sources” that, in reality, do not measure up or even come close.
