Big Heart Feels

This book was such a refreshing read. “Big Heart Feels” is all about putting oneself in someone else’s shoes. Especially in light of current events, this book is perfectly timed to teach and remind, young and old, about considering others.

Join the main character, Angela, as she considers how she would feel if she were experiencing what someone else was going through. From not waking her father who was in bed with a cold to encouraging her friend who didn’t do well on a math test, this book shows there are situations everywhere around us in which we can show compassion and empathy.

Written by father-daughter duo, Mike and Mackenzie Morrison, this book wraps up the Small Voice Says series. While I’m not officially reviewing the first two books of this series, I support what the authors are trying to achieve. At the heart of this series is a mission to help instill a strong sense of individuality, confidence, and empathy – all represented in the three-book series.

If you’re looking for ways to reinforce lessons on a strong sense of self as well as best practices on how to treat others – listening and developing that small, inner voice – this book is a great resource.
